The Palais Royal placemat offers an original floral painting: inspired by the walks of Queen Catherine de Medici, it is composed of magnolias in bloom delicately surrounded by a ballet of dragonflies. A placemat with patterns and colors as elegant as they are vibrant!
From Paris to Alsace, the story of the Palais Royal pattern remains among our favorites: it was inspired by the stay of one of our artists in the gardens of the Palais Royal in Paris. Back in Alsace, it was under her sharpened brush that the design for this placemat was created in the Beauvillé workshops.
For a soft decoration, choose transparent or white tableware and add a beautiful bouquet of colored flowers. You can also complete your table decoration with our two-tone peony/white napkins.
We particularly appreciate the richness of the pattern of the Palais Royal placemat, composed of more than 12 colors printed one by one by hand.

Before using for the first time, soak your cloth for 12 to 24 hours in cold water, changing the water. Then wash separately at 40°C (warm wash) with only half the usuel amount of washing agent. Subsequently dark colours should always be washed separately. To maintain the quality of the cloth, items should never be put into the machine folded. The use of local spot removers is forbidden. For persistant stains, if the label allows it, we advise a cold pre-treatment with diluted bleach before washing.
