Crafted from organic cotton sateen, the Samarcande fabric placemat features a soft hand, a subtle sheen and exceptional color depth.

The Samarcande design was created by Beauvillé’s in-house artists and is printed and finished in the company’s workshops in Ribeauvillé, Alsace.

How to style the Samarcande placemat ?

Pair the burgundy colorway with ivory dinnerware, clear glassware and brushed brass or satin-finish flatware for a warm, sophisticated setting.

Cooler colorways can be styled with white porcelain, pearl-gray stoneware and matte silver accents. Choose solid-colored dinnerware to maintain visual balance and allow the ikat pattern to remain the focal point.

Useful tips : 

Don't let stains dry. Immediately wipe spilt liquid with a clean and absorbent cloth or dab lightly with a sponge.

We strongly recommend machine washing at 40°C (107,6F) with very little washing agent and rinsing thoroughly. Too much detergent will reduce the water-repellent properties of the fabric.

Iron your clothes preferably on the reverse side. Ironing and drying reactivate the qualities of the treatment.
